David Schwimmer Helps NYPD Investigate Stabbing Case
Friends star David Schwimmer helped the New York Police Department investigate an alleged stabbing that occurred outside his Manhattan townhouse, the New York Daily News reports. Before running off, the prostitute pepper-sprayed the 26-year-old victim in the face. The man also attempted to defend himself with a box cutter, only to have Rainey use the weapon to slash him in the face.

The fight eventually spilled onto the street and was captured on Schwimmer's security cameras. The actor shared the footage with police, who arrested Rainey on charges of robbery, assault, criminal possession of stolen property and criminal mischief.
