The ex-stripper, who's got three movies (Haywire, The Vow and 21 Jump Street) hitting theaters over the first three months of 2012, revealed his comedic shortcomings as the skitcom's guest host. Most of the sketches required him only to disrobe, dance and/or make funny faces, and he still managed not to score a single laugh all night.
Tatum's attempt to imitate Matthew McConaughey was lifted directly from Matt Damon's impersonation, a frequent request on Late Show With David Letterman. In the spirit of the emcee's Valentine's Day weeper, I'd like SNL to make this vow: Never book Channing Tatum again. He's the Lana Del Rey of guest hosts.
