The Legendary Miss Britney Spears Will Appear on Jane the Virgin
The pop icon will face off against Rogelio!
It's been seven years since Britney Spears last showed off her acting skills (if you don't count her "Criminal" music video). But the pop goddess will once again grace television with her presence. Spears will take a break from her Las Vegas residency to film a guest spot onJane the Virgin.
Jane's getting married on Jane the Virgin!
Spears, who will play herself, will appear as Rogelio's (Jaime Camil) "nemesis" in the fifth episode of the upcoming second season. "Personally, after hearing about their long standing feud (from Rogelio's point of view), we are eager to hear Ms. Spears' side of the story, which we assume is quite different. #TeamBritney," executive producer Jennie Snyder Urman said in a statement.
The living legend shared her excitement on Twitter, calling the gig a dream come true.

Jane the Virgin returns Monday, Oct. 12 at 9/8c on The CW.
