Brian Austin Green will join the cast of Rosewood in a series regular role, Fox announced Wednesday. Green's character, Aaron Slade, is said to have a mysterious past, and "will both challenge and complicate an already messy situation between Dr. Beaumont Rosewood, Jr. (Morris Chestnut) and Detective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz)," according to a release.The show marks Green's first TV role since appearing in Anger Management, which starred Charlie Sheen.Add Rosewoodto your Watchlist!Set in Miami, the series follows Rosewood, the city's most renowned private pathologist, as he works with Villa to solve East Miami's hardest cases.The series became a surprise hit last season due in part to cross-promotion with Empire and a time slot that had it airing before the hit hip-hop drama.This fall, Rosewood moves to Thursday, airing before the network's new buzzed-about show Pitch.
