Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Are Expecting a Baby

Expect a whole lot of Preserve posts about artisanal baby food and reclaimed cribs out of old barn lumber because Blake Lively is pregnant. The human Pinterest board and Martha Stewart disciple announced that she and husband Ryan Reynolds are expecting their first child on her website. How very Gossip Girl.

"Preserve at its core is about family. 'Family' is the single word our founder, Blake built this home on," a post on the site reads. "We have something for men, for women, for the old, but we realized, we don't have anything for the new. With family on our mind, we looked to the origin of it all—to the women in our lives who are right there, at that special moment; at the creation of family."

TV wigs: Yay or nay?

"Congratulations to all the expecting mothers out there. And thank you for being a part of our Preserve family," the post concludes, leading into a series of family-inspired photographs. But only those with the patience and stamina to scroll through all the "curated" photos are rewarded with the sneaky reveal of a shot of Lively taken by her brother, So Weird star Eric Lively. The predictably Toaster-filtered photograph features the actress cradling her growing bump as she stares at her unborn child.

Lively, 27, and Reynolds, 37, wed in a secret ceremony in September 2012 and have since talked non-stop about their desire to start a family. "If I could spit out a litter of kids, I would," Lively recently told Marie Claire. In July, she told Vogue that Reynolds would be a "great father and leader and patriarch." "He's so meant to be all of those things," she said. "The fact that he lived so much before we got together, he's the exact realized person that he should be. And so I get to share my life with the person he's become, and we get to grow from there."
