Black Lightning Season 3 Is Coming Sooner Than Expected

Good news, Black Lightning fans! The CW superhero show will return sooner than we expected.

On Sunday, The CW announced that the Cress Williams-led series will now premiere Monday, Oct. 7 at 9/8c. The show was previously set to debut its third season on Monday, Oct. 21. The move pairs the show with the Season 2 debut of All American.

Additionally, for the first time ever, cast members from Black Lightning will appear in the Arrowverse crossover, which kicks off with Supergirl on Sunday, Dec. 8.
