Anthony Anderson. Laurence Fishburne. Tracee Ellis Ross. The parents in ABC's upcoming sitcom Black-ish are all stars in their own right, but as this exclusive sneak peek proves, the kids can more than keep up.

When his father Andre (Anderson) bemoans his decision to try out for field hockey over basketball, Andre Jr. (Marcus Scribner) bats down each parental concern like a seasoned pro before precociously adding that he's decided to change his name to Andy.

"I think it says I'm edgy, but approachable," Andre Jr. Andy says.

"I think it says I hate my father and I play field hockey," Andre retorts.
