Former First Lady Barbara Bush Hospitalized
Former first lady Barbara Bush has been hospitalized, CNN reports. On Monday, Bush, 88, was admitted to Houston's Methodist Hospital for a respiratory-related issue. "She is in great spirits, has already received visits from her husband and family, and is receiving fantastic care," a spokesman said. "Updates will be issued when warranted." Bush, who's married to former President George H.W. Bush, underwent open heart surgery back in 2009. She was hospitalized a year later for a recurrence of Graves' disease, with which she was diagnosed in 1988.
