ABC CLUB'S PAT ROBERSTON

When Pat Robertson suggested on The 700 Club Monday that the U.S. covertly assassinate Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez, the Walt Disney-owned ABC Family channel couldn't believe its mouse ears. The cabler followed up with a statement saying it "strongly rejects the views expressed" on Robertson's program, which ABC Family is contractually required to carry.
