On the heels of reports that Twentieth Television is developing English-language telenovelas for syndication on Fox stations comes word that both ABC and CBS are also latching on to the Latin America-born soap-opera format and may have closed-end sudsers on prime time as soon as this summer. I'd delve into this more, but frankly I'm beginning to feel mucho stupido for taking French in high school.
