But as usual with this show, we have no idea who he'll play

Yehaw! Westworld's robots better have the proper shielding, because the HBO series is getting a major expert in magnets. Aaron Paul, best known as Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad, is joining the third season of the sci-fi series, TV Guide has confirmed.

As per usual with Westworld, there are no details about his character -- aside from the fact that he'll be a series regular -- because this show doesn't want us to know anything about anything. Will he be a robot? Will he be a human? Will he be a being of pure energy who bounces between the world of the living and that digital heaven that a bunch of robots walked into in the Season 2 finale? Who knows? Creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy sure aren't saying anything.

This looks to be Paul's highest-profile role since leaving Breaking Bad, for which he won three Emmys. The actor starred in Hulu's The Path, and is currently voicing Todd on Netflix's BoJack Horseman. And if you're into trivia, you might have known that his voice was used in Black Mirror's "USS Callister." He'll next be seen on Apple's upcoming anthology Are You Sleeping?, for which he has a one-season commitment.

Paul's casting was first reported by Deadline. The third season of Westworld does not have a premiere date.
