Wings Over the Pacific Reviews

Love is an American WW I veteran who enjoys the peace and quiet that surrounds him and his daughter, Cooper, on a quiet Pacific island. The silence is broken, however, when a pair of pilots--the American Norris and the German Guttman, the latter an advance scout for the Japanese--crash-land on the island after a dogfight. The Nazi discovers that the island is loaded with oil and radios the Japanese to invade, but Norris nixes that plan and also ends up with the girl. Pure baloney in spite of a generally excellent cast and a generous budget. Veteran character actor Love died just before the film's release.
