Whistling in Brooklyn Reviews

The last of three films starring Skelton as a radio crime-solving pundit reprised many of the elements found in WHISTLING IN THE DARK (1941) and WHISTLING IN DIXIE (1942). A cop-killer with the cognomen "Constant Reader" preys on the police until screwball sleuth Skelton runs him down on the baseball diamond. As a bearded Brooklyn baseball player, the disguised detective delivers imperiled inspector O'Neill from the menacing murderer. Made by the same production team that was responsible for the first two entries in the series.
