Ken and Happy, looking for their friend Cherokee, run into an outlaw gang led by Ritter who have been terrorizing the ranchers. Ken figures that one of the prominent citizens is the real boss and sets a trap to find him.

The search for Maynard's gold prospector pal leads the cowpoke to a ranch owned by Girard, Maynard's chief suspect and a man with an attractive daughter. Then the real villains turn up and the fists start to fly. This is one of those oaters in which Tarzan the horse is the most interesting presence on the screen and also the best performer, probably because he doesn't have to say anything.
