Well-meaning project revolving around Roc's attempt to retrieve the baby she gave up for adoption to John, though without legal red tape, when she learned that the boy's father was married not only to her but also to somebody else. Years after parting with the tot (and hubby), she has remarried and wants the boy back, taking John to court and proving her case. But the lad prefers his adopted mother to his real one, the latter being a virtual stranger. Unhappy, but devoted to her boy's well-being, Roc brings the laddy back to John. Designed to wring out one tear after another, the story pulls out a final sob when Roc finally gets her wish and has another baby.
