Friend, a gym teacher at a girls' school, is accused of murder and nearly lynched by the angry townspeople. With the help of his art-teacher girl friend, Beaumont, he discovers that the actual killer is a demented music teacher, Martin. Together they clear Friend's name and save the school from another tragedy.
