Transient Lady Reviews

An ice skating show comes to a small town in the South and problems crop up. Nice guy Hull runs the town, but his brother (Jones), knowing his older sibling will protect him, leads the town's gang of thugs. They go to a skating rink, cause trouble, and are kicked out. They come back for revenge, and Jones is killed by Ellis, who owns the rink. Ellis leaves the scene and the blame falls on fancy skater Williams. Lawyer Raymond, who has eyes for Williams' partner, Drake, gets him free in a jury trial. Just when a lynch mob is ready to take care of Williams, Ellis confesses to the murder and with that, the angry crowd cools off and goes home. Raymond weds Drake instead of long-time fiancee Clayworth. Some redeemable action, but the courtroom scenes go on too long.
