A frontiersman urges settlers claiming land to negotiate peacefully with the Arapaho tribe chief. A crooked settler incites a war between the cavalry and the Arapaho, and the frontiersman must work to thwart his plan.
A war with the Indians is narrowly averted when a crazed wagonmaster wages a battle on an Indian-held valley. His actions are checked, and instead of bloodshed there is peace in the valley.
