During WWII two Army Sergeants, Dave and Fixit, enjoy a pass in California and romance Janet and Cora who work at a parachute factory. Dave and Janet fall in love against her family's wishes, but the war overseas pulls them apart.

Dreary depiction of a wartime romance between soldier Morgan and Parker, the girl he falls in love with while on leave in Southern California. They're quick to get married and have a baby, but the film takes far too much time detailing these events without adding much.
