The Terrorists Reviews

Connery stars as a Scandinavian government agent who is called in to settle a hostage crisis. A group of gunmen have hijacked a plane and are keeping the passengers at gunpoint until the government releases some political prisoners. It becomes a tense battle of wits, but when it nearly looks settled--with the terrorists heading out of the country--Connery blows them all away. The film makes no attempt to explore any of the reasons behind the attack, or what is going on in the terrorizers' minds, thus reducing the picture to a pile of cliches. If anything, THE TERRORISTS has a superb "look" to it, thanks to Nykvist's expertise behind the camera.
