The Quarterback Reviews

This minor football comedy features Wayne Morris in a dual role as a pair of twins: one smart, one dumb. The dumb one is a great football player, while his studious sibling dreams of becoming a college professor. The latter gets a football scholarship in the guise of his twin, but problems arise when both brothers woo Kay Merrill (Virginia Dale). A subplot involves the inevitable gamblers who try to keep the gridiron hero from getting to the Big Game and subbing for the brainiac. As the frustrated fellow who must keep from mixing up the pair, Edgar Kennedy provides the comic high points.
