This Hammer horror film is as intelligent and well crafted as the rest of their productions, this time casting Diffring as a 104-year-old man who looks to be in his mid-30s. Set at the turn of the century, Diffring removes the "uter parathyroid" gland from living victims and uses it to rejuvenate his living self. Lee stars as his less-than-willing aide in this remake of THE MAN IN HALF MOON STREET.
