A detective arrests his fiancée when evidence behind a robbery points to her. Years later, after serving time in prison, she is framed for murder, but the detective struggles with believing her.

Foster plays a detective forced to send his fiancee to prison when it appears she is deeply involved in a bank robbery. She was framed, of course, but when she's released on parole she is framed again, this time for murder, and Foster has a hard time swallowing her sob story twice. The real killer is found and the surprisingly forgiving fiancee seems pleased as punch to be back in the arms of her detective. Stretches belief to the limits.
