Filmed in 1979, THE HOUSE OF GOD did not see a theatrical release until a number of its stars began hitting it big. The film is a black comedy about a group of young interns and the daily dilemmas they face in trying to survive in their high-pressure hospital jobs. All of the performances are top-notch, but the story is merely trite.
