Touching and improbable story about a boy, his dog, and a horse. The lad, Henry, believes that a horse carting a milk wagon has the makings of a champion racer and persuades a sportsman to let it run against his prized thoroughbred. The milk wagon puller wins and an illegal betting ring is broken up. The dog dies while heroically saving the horse from injury.
