Curious story of four inseparable friends; Bennett, an emotionally unstable young man, Asher, his depressed sister, Taube, a kind Swedish architect, and Taylor-Young, a free-spirited American student touring Europe. While Bennett and Asher continually battle their incestuous urges, Taube and Taylor-Young marry, an unhappy joining that sees its lowest moment in the death of their first child. Interesting but rather empty story of friendship, love, and dependency.
