Another entry in the spate of early 1980s sci-fi and fantasy films, THE BEASTMASTER features Rip Torn as the heavy, Tanya Roberts (future "Sheena") as the lovely, and Marc Singer as the title character. Singer's mother, in the confusing story, was a cow, which enables him now to make animals do his bidding. Not much action or excitement here.
