The second film in the "Mr. Moto" series and one of the best, THANK YOU, MR. MOTO has Lorre once again starring as the diminutive international detective. This time he's hot on the trail of a series of Chinese scrolls that, when pieced together, will reveal the hidden tomb of Genghis Khan, with all its treasures. Of course, several unscrupulous characters are also after the ancient scrolls, including Blackmer and his gang of cutthroats, who kill Frederick in the course of their quest. Eventually Lorre catches up with the killers, shoots Blackmer, and burns the scrolls so that no one will ever disturb the resting place of Genghis Khan. Good production values and a fine supporting cast help to keep things rolling along at an enjoyable clip.
