British crime melodrama starring Domergue as the sister of a powerful London mobster who slowly seduces her lover, Patterson, into a life of crime. He goes along reluctantly, but when things turn homicidal he tries to back out. She won't let him. A slight change of pace for Domergue, who spent most of her cinematic time screaming at the sight of giant octopi (IT CAME FROM BENEATH THE SEA, 1955) or alien creatures (THIS ISLAND EARTH, 1954).
