Snowman Reviews

Leaden, predictable survival yarn. The rather unprepossessing crooner Mel Torme plays Zak O'Brien, a TV animal trainer whose private plane crashes in the rugged mountains of Utah. He treks out of the snowy wilderness with the assistance of his trained eagle, which hunts for its master's food. In cutaway sequences, a trained wolf that also escaped maiming in the crash forages for survival on its own. William Shatner, playing O'Brien's TV producer, frets back home while the trainer makes his tedious but scenic journey. First released in 1977, rereleased in 1981.
