Kibbee takes his down-home philosophizing to New York when a local boy who is an aspiring playwright gets mixed up with some crooked promoters and the blonde floozy they use as bait. Kibbee helps the kid get on his feet by finding a leading lady and bankrolling the show. Edited by John Sturges, who went on to become a notable western director.
