Party Girl Reviews

A Times Square escort service run by Fowler supplies girls for businessmen's parties. Prevost is the No. 1 party girl, and Loff is a former escort who has become a secretary. Fairbanks, the son of a company president, is blackmailed into marrying one of the girls, who dies when she falls out of a window while trying to escape from the police. Thanks to the censors and the morals of the time, we're supposed to believe that these party girls just danced and drank with these anxious businessmen. A little too dated and corny to be entertaining. Prevost, a successful silent star, couldn't find her niche in sound films and began drinking heavily, which helped bring on her death in 1937.
