Oil company co-owners Harvey and Prouty agree to leave controlling interest in their company to their respective son and daughter, O'Keefe and Frazee, if the two marry by the time Frazee turns 21. The problem is that the kids have never met and have preconceived notions of what the other must be like. They both try to dissolve their fathers' agreement and still retain their inheritance, but they finally meet and find that it's nearly love at first sight.
