Men Are Such Fools Reviews

Carrillo isn't given much to work with this time out. He's cast as an unlucky Italian who, after bringing his German wife to America, finds that she's sleeping around with cabaret owner Foxe. Carrillo beats him up and is sent to San Quentin. Before long he gets out on parole, but finds his wife dead--a suicide over an unhappy affair. He kills Foxe and is promptly booted back into prison--for life. He becomes the victim of amnesia and only regains his memory by composing a march that is performed by his cellmates. Jefferson Pictures was a production company (though not for long) begun by Joseph I. Schnitzer, who had resigned as RKO studio head.
