Meet the Boy Friend Reviews

Carlyle is the country's top crooner, known as "America's Boy Friend," a title he hates as much as all the fame that surrounds him. When a shady actress tries to marry him, the niece of an insurance executive (who has taken a $300,000 anti-marriage policy on the singer) succeeds in winning him over. She is, however, kidnaped in the process, forcing Carlyle to rescue her. Nothing here to hold the interest, except (maybe) for a glimpse of Burnette out of his usual western garb.
