Marry the Boss's Daughter Reviews

Edwards is a naive young man who arrives in New York City determined to make something of himself. He finds a dog, the lost pet of Joyce, and returns it to her. She's overwhelmed by his act of kindness and talks her father (Barbier) into giving the young man a job in his Manhattan business. Edwards soon discovers potentially damaging errors in the company files, shows the boss, gets a fat promotion and Joyce's hand in marriage. It's just one cliche after another in this insipid production, which served as the lower half of B double features in the 1940s.
