A mindless screen adaptation of the popular cartoon character with Gillis weakly portraying Annie. She meets Kent, a one-time boxing champ who now lives in a tenement building. She persuades his neighbors to help defray his training expenses and thereby share the profits when he wins the big fight. A group of gangsters do not like the idea, however, and lock Kent in the gym before the fight. He gets out in the nick of time and wins with a knockout.
