It Happened to One Man Reviews

Lawson is a financier and manipulator who is exposed by his ruthless partner Tate and ends up serving time in prison. His family life in disarray, he sets out to find the hiding Tate, and in an unlikely showing of British action, exchanges gunfire. The end has Lawson's once impatient wife returning her love. The film was made in Britain by RKO during WW II with "frozen funds." Because of wartime restrictions, these funds could not leave the country.
