Standard whodunit has dancer Castle pinned for murder after his shoe prints are found at the scene of the crime. The real culprit is Toomey, who tries to cover his guilt by posing as a detective in love with Castle's sleuthing wife, Knox. She saves the day by squeezing a confession out of Toomey.
