Hi Ya, Sailor Reviews

After sailor Woods is duped by a New York publisher, he heads for the metropolis to find fame and fortune. What he finds is a friendly woman cab driver played by Knox, and Brooks, a vocalist who covers one of his tunes. That's all you're going to find in terms of plot in this big band version of a rock video. The long list of musical numbers includes "A Dream Ago," "Babies Ball," "Spell of the Moon," "Hi' Ya, Sailor," "So Goodnight," "Just a Stop Away from Heaven" (Everett Carter, Milt Rosen), "The More I Go Out with Somebody Else" (Billy Post, Don Pierce, Pierre Norman), "Oh Brother" (Maxine Manners, Jean Miller), "One O'Clock Jump" (Count Basie, Harry James).
