After sailor Woods is duped by a New York publisher, he heads for the metropolis to find fame and fortune. What he finds is a friendly woman cab driver played by Knox, and Brooks, a vocalist who covers one of his tunes. That's all you're going to find in terms of plot in this big band version of a rock video.
