Foran and the Northwest Mounted Police pursue a gang of thieves who stole a shipment of gold and furs from an Edmonton-bound freighter. When an innocent trapper is accused of aiding the crooks, Foran saves him by arriving before the angry lynch mob does him in. Photographing in Technicolor, Warners made the best of the picturesque scenery found in the Great Northwest, highlighted by an array of chase scenes--in canoes, boats, and planes--as well as a cliff-top skirmish.
