Hardbodies 2 Reviews

This follow-up to 1984's HARDBODIES has little in common with its predecessor other than in its director, title, and plenty of exposed female flesh. Rest assured, however, the complete switch in story and characters raises little, if any, argument with the film's intended audiences. The story opens as some incredibly handsome surfers go flying off to Greece, where they are scheduled to appear in a film. Upon arrival at the airport, the gorgeous lugs are seized by customs for transporting dope. But wait! It's all part of the movie. Gradually it develops that Zutaut, Temeles, and the not-so-nice Wilmot are the stars of the film within a film. What's missing is a comely lass to costar in this extravaganza. It's not great art, but it's not meant to be. Mostly HARDBODIES 2 is bared bosoms and handsome hunks, with a little bit of moronic humor tossed in to break up the monotony. The cast is likable enough, despite the lack of talent.
