Good Day for a Hanging Reviews

Vaughn is captured by a posse under the lead of MacMurray, who wants to send "the Kid" to the gallows. Surprisingly the townsfolk sympathize with the good-looking, charismatic youngster and do what they can to prevent his execution, accusing MacMurray of being cold-blooded. No one, not even his daughter, believes MacMurray's evidence in this offbeat western which, unfortunately, is too slow-paced to hold much attention. MacMurray, as he so consistently does, delivers a moving portrayal as the frustrated marshal.
