New York hockey player Andy Buell is approached by Hollywood talent scout Nancy Davis to play the hunk lead in "The Behemoth" but he would prefer she quit her job and become his wife.

Rogers is a talent scout searching for a star for a movie titled "The Behemoth." She goes to New York and finds hockey player Lane. He's reluctant, and Rogers ends up dropping her Hollywood job to be a hockey player's wife. The handsome Lane, a former Notre Dame football star, had worked for the major studios before sliding over to Republic. The year following this "inside Hollywood" opus, he became Allan "Rocky" Lane, specializing in B-westerns for the studio (51 in all).
