Produced locally by a Texas businessman, this obscure silent Westerns featured a no-name cast in a story about a boy who saves a herd of wild horses from being slaughtered by a nasty rancher. The only recognizable name in the film is that of Jack Padjan, a real-life cowboy from Montana who had played Wild Bill Hickock in John Ford's The Iron Horse (1924). One of the better stunt-riders in the business, Padjan sometimes billed himself Jack Duane. It is doubtful that the "Walter Long" appearing in this film is the same as the well-known serial star.
