An uneven comedy about a rich boy, Wadsworth, wanting to marry a showgirl, Lombard, and his sister, Hopkins, getting engaged to a mechanic. Their mother and father can't believe their choices and try to talk them out of their plans. When the showgirl and mechanic are the ones to nix the wedding plans, the rich parents have a change of heart, and everyone gets back together for a double wedding. A comedy that lost the humor somewhere among its lines, it was Hopkins' first film.
