A diplomat (Joel McCrea) lands in hot water when his wife (Brenda Marshall) is forced to spy for the enemy. Jeffrey Lynn, George Bancroft, James Stephenson, Stanley Ridges, Martin Kosleck. Good cast, indifferent material. Directed by Lloyd Bacon.

State Department agent McCrea teams up with Marshall to steal the evidence of Nazi espionage in the US off a train somewhere in Europe. This pallid imitation of CONFESSIONS OF A NAZI SPY has only a few moments of interest today, although its topicality in its time gave it good box-office appeal.
