Edge of Eternity Reviews

Exciting modern-day western actioner directed by Don Siegel sees Wilde as a brave sheriff's deputy out to solve the murder of a gold-mine executive who discovered his gold was being stolen and sold in Mexico for $50 an ounce, instead of the $35 it would net in the US When the culprit, Shaughnessy, discovers that Wilde is on his trail, he grabs Shaw as a hostage and drives off in a brand-new Thunderbird, headed for the Grand Canyon. The climax sees Wilde and Shaughnessy shooting it out in the yellow tram cars that span the magnificent canyon. Superb location photography by Burnett Guffey and exciting direction by Siegel help gloss over the rather weak script and make this film well worth watching.
