Dawn on the Great Divide Reviews

Jones' last movie, released just after his tragic death in the Coconut Grove fire in Boston. After the third member of the Rough Riders, McCoy, was drafted into the service in WW II, the producers replaced him with cowboy actor Bell who was really no replacement. Jones is a scout guiding a wagon train of settlers and railroad supplies through Indian territory. With the help of Bell and Hatton, Jones discovers that the hostile redskins are not redskins at all, but renegade whites posing as Indians to stop the railroad settlement. Unusually good production values stand out due to a larger than normal budget for this oater.
