Crooks in Cloisters Reviews

An amiable gang of crooks hide in a deserted island monastery. Fraser is the leader of the thieves who don the habits of monks. They become accustomed to life on the quiet island, struggling with the animals and crops, though it takes some practice. Two of the funniest scenes occur when there are visits to the island: first by tourists, and then by authentic monks. One of the crooks blows their cover when his gambling is noticed by local bobbies. A good effort somewhat weighed down by an underdeveloped script and restrained direction.
